Account recovery
If you can no longer sign in to your SLDocs account — because you've lost your authenticator app, changed your phone number, and don't have your recovery codes — you can ask our team to verify your identity and help you re-establish access.
Try the basics first
Assisted recovery is a last resort. If you still have any of your sign-in factors, use them instead — it's faster and free. You can sign in with a one-time recovery code, your authenticator app, or a text message to the phone number on your account. Only continue here if you've lost all of them.
What you'll need
- The email address on your SLDocs account
- Your full legal name as it appears on your account
- A government-issued photo ID (PDF, JPEG, PNG, or TIFF) — driver's license, passport, or state ID
How it works
A member of our recovery team reviews your ID against the identity details on file. We verify a real person before making any changes — no account is ever reset automatically. If approved, you'll receive a one-time link to set a new password and enroll fresh sign-in factors.
Your first assisted recovery in any three-year period is free. A second recovery within that window carries a $75 fee, which you'll only be asked to pay after your identity has been verified.
