Executor access

If you are responsible for settling the estate of someone who held a SLDocs vault, you can request executor access to their documents.

When this applies

Executor access is the fallback when the deceased did not designate recipients during their lifetime, or when the designated recipients cannot be located or have declined to participate. If you were designated as a recipient, the regular recipient-access flow applies instead — no fee, no manual verification.

What you'll need

Fee and timing

A flat $250 administrative fee applies, payable from the estate. We verify documents manually; expect a response within 2 business days. If approved, you receive a secure link valid for 30 days, extendable to 90 days total without additional fee.

If SLDocs has announced a wind-down of operations, the $250 fee is waived for all executor requests during the wind-down window.
